"Most of the greatest people in the world are unknown, in the deepest loving memory of my grandmother Irene Short, this site is dedicated to all of those people"
Oh deep lovers love, come now, pour over us again
As before, with the purity and oneness of thy peace
Flow freely roundabout us, as currents from our eyes
Tears of great joy, streaming and babbling, clarity
Gently roll over the aged stones of our thirsty souls
Let us cry, "We are the foundation in the river of life"
The floor of the deep is settled and sure in its place
Though torrents wash and beat against these rocks
Inside we are stayed fast, even as the floods rage
Outside, we are beings worn, yet are sworn in place
Yeah, often we are parched for lack of fresh rain
As the heat of the dark rises, bringing sad drought
Wet our lips and give unto us, thy drink offering
Fill us full overflowing, so that we may speak
Saying, “I love you so deep, I cannot speak it”
Yet understand as one, in a place you wet
A place such as this, where lovers love at once
In waters alive, in a moment, eternally kissed
Thank you, oh deepest love, for unspeakable gifts
Sought out, found, and kept hidden in the stones
The souls of thy lovers is well, always well kept
Though we may question love, your truest truth
Be not thy moved from the tumultuous heart
Flow now, over our wounds, as earnest as we pray
May we ever be so, found wet, in thy river, in love
