Discography
Released...
To Tucson
This is our 1st CD released.
Strong melodies and lyrics
with the heart of country,
folk, pop, bluegrass, blues,
cajun, spanish, and a
chicken thrown in for good
taste.
Tales about To Tucson:
- Baby rattle was written for BB's daughters.
- My boys was written by BB for his sons (biological and non biological).
- Yes this train was written to honor all (especially those who lived in the so called "good old days").
- Chicken was written for all chickens everywhere who are not ashamed to say "I am a chicken."
Rock 'n' Blues
Our 2nd CD released. Yeah!
This is what blues is about.
This rocks. I would have
sweat drops of bud making
this CD, if I had any.
Tales about Rock 'n' Blues:
- Into one was written by BB and parts of the melody were co-written by Eric Price, BB had to leave out part of the final lead during recording because his fingers just could not get the lightning flying off of them like Eric could.
- You're wicked was written by BB on behalf of a man he met who worked like a well oiled machine, at a production plant, who could be found often complaining about how wicked the woman was, that he was with, and when asked "why don't you leave her?" the reply was always, "Oh hell no! It's all gravy!"
- Go indigo was written on behalf of any and all people who have been herded against their will, by the U.S. government into facilities nationwide to partake of the forced experimental drug intake program, mixed with outdated psychiatric treatments, simply because they came into the world as non conformists, as indigo children. For all those who draw outside of the lines that the controllers have drawn, Go indigo!
- Pony ride was written about one of those mechanical "quarter a ride" horsy's sitting outside of the K-mart.
This is a flat out lie. Isn't it?
- No bush beatin was written as kind of a fight song for anyone who has had their heart ripped out by an ex-lover's Dracula-like teeth.
- Gone like the wind was inspired by the beauty and deadliness of a place known as Devils Slide south of San Francisco along the coastal highway.
- Step into my darkness was written to help people stop saying "I love you" unless they are also willing to walk beside the person they claim to love, during their darkest dark.
- Banny blues was written many years ago by BB and was included on this album in keeping with the Royal Order Of Special Tasty Animals (also known as ROOSTA).
- At this point, BB would like to observe a moment of silent screaming " " on behalf of innocent peas, who have been eaten to death by left wing vegetarians, all the while ignoring their little round screams.
- Also, who knows, maybe some day, a station wagon full of cows may pull up to the drive through window at McHumans and order a sack full of "Big Man" sammiches.
- When I say when was written to give courage to those who have been used as a doormat by the feet of control freaks. By the way, you will notice Nova is a bit vocally nervous on the first two verses, because it's her first studio recording solo, but by the 3rd verse she pulls it together and gets to the soul of the matter.
- Disclaimer: Not all of our music was recorded like they do at the big studios, doing 50 takes until some know it all, in a suit says "that's what it should sound like", we are humans and imperfections are a part of who we izz. You will hear, what appear to be mistakes, everywhere you go, it's when you come upon the perfect mistake, is when your hearing has improved greatly. All notes that appear to be out of key on any of our cd's have formed the following statement "We are just as beautiful as all of those `~%*^# notes that think they are so in tune with everything!"
Upcoming...
Into One
This will be our 3rd CD offering
coming in December of 2008. Sure to
go beyond the span of normal
attention, with melodies and
ideas, to raise eyebrows.
Tales about Into One:
- Love Johnny was taken from real handwritten letters shared with BB by a family of a soldier who died in Iraq. BB was given permission to write a song about their experience. Names, places and circumstances were changed to protect their identity from the war machine, which could give a damn less, who it rolls over.
- White eagle is a true story of a man known as "The keeper of the corn" and also known as "Carl Barnes" and also known as a Cherokee named "White eagle" whom BB met at the Winfield, Kansas guitar pickers gathering, several years ago. White eagle walked up to me (BB) under the grandstand and took me by the shoulders and turned me around and with tears in his eyes, proceeded to share with me, things beyond normal thinking. I went home, thought about it and wrote a song called "White eagle." Soon after, I found out that he was going to be receiving the Cherokee medal of honor for his work in seeds and in his dedication to educating. I asked the promoter if I could present a live performance of the song to White eagle and the promoter agreed to let me perform it at the banquet the night before the awards ceremony, without White eagles knowledge. James Earl Jones and Willy Nelson among other stars, had already left the banquet by the time I was allowed on stage (last). I screwed up the song within a minute, I stopped playing and told the audience "this is much easier to do at home in my boxers in front of the dog," they laughed, I started the song again and played it beautifully. After I was through, White eagle came up with his tears falling to the floor, and chanting something wonderful in Cherokee and handed me a sack full of purple corn and a ceremonial dance gourd and stated to the audience (while gesturing towards me) "This is water running around the mountain, and it remains to be seen what this means." Needless to say, he and I both were honored.
- Mother on the other side (Michelle's song) is another true story about my younger sister and her five year fight against a rare form of spinal cancer. A few weeks before she died, I was at her hospital bedside and she asked me to sing the song I had wrote for her, with her. I cannot put into words, what I felt as I leaned over to her, face to face as we sang it together, while she sang through her oxygen mask, word for word from beginning to end. Before I left the hospital to head back home to another state, Michelle asked me "Would you please play that song at my funeral, just leave out the word "ass" so we don't offend certain people." Of course I said yes and of course I sang it at her funeral and of course I changed the word "ass" to "eyes." But in keeping with my firm belief that it is okay to tell cancer to "kiss my ass goodbye" and in keeping with sister Michelles fiery spirit, which cancer could not kill, I faithfully sing "Kiss my ass hello and goodbye" on the cd.
- The enemy was written to commemorate any and all people whose physical bodies have so falsely been accused and abused by those thoughts which thought "human flesh is the enemy."

few pieces of fine art on it. One
of the songs has taken about
twenty years to master.

The 5th release is planned to be
available by July of 2009 and will include songs written to move as
many hearts as can be fit into love.
Hey Kid!
This will be our 6th release which
should be ready before Christmas
of 2009. This is for kids and those
who still allow their inner child to
come out and play. Let's have fun!
Alternating Currents
Hopefully this will be out by March
of 2010, full of alternative choices
that will lick your ears like a basset
hound, looking for caramel flavored
wax.

Stayed tuned because BB has a multitude of songs already written.
It is just a matter of figuring what to
put in the mix for the finest flavor.
